![]() ![]() I thought this may have been a problem with the actual headset unit itself vs the product in general, but I've found that these are pretty common irritations with the headset. That would be fine if I wasn't having to do that four to six times or more in a single gaming session. There is a constant, intermittent buzzing/beeping sound that requires you to unplug the USB cord that connects the charging dock and the console. It's been several times since purchasing that this has happened, and for a $300 pair of headphones that's not cool lol. I'm constantly having to screw the screws back into the unit itself, right around the ear section, because it seems that simply putting them on my head is enough for the screws to become loose after a few wears. The audio quality is fine, and when the headphones work, they work great - but I'd say the major issues with the wireless pair include the actual build quality itself+ connection issues. Once you can isolate it then they are hassle free. I also had to change the wireless channel a couple times to try and reduce the amount of connectivity issues. ![]() I have to make sure not to place it on my desk between the two. If my cell phone is between the xbox and the headset it will consistently disconnect. These do suffer from wireless interference. By far the best sounding and quality have been the penrose X's. Over the last 5 to 6 years you can see ive went through a couple headsets. The gen4's were horrible and they fit differently. I also had the astro a50gen3 for a long time before the base just stopped. These are decent as well but hurt my ears after a couple hours. Gave them to a buddy who needed headphones. I was super careful babying them the whole time, lasted 4months before breakage again. returned 2 of them under warranty for the 3rd to start breaking as well. TUrlte beach 800x (tried numerous pairs but the no mic thing was a deal breaker xbox chat was always fubarred), arctis 9x these are great headphones but the cans will break from the headband. YES!!!!!! PENROSE X ALL THE WAY! Ive owned these before going audeze. This content will be removed all other days regardless of upvotes or awards.
